Step 2: Interview
Interviews are essential for dog rescues to ensure potential adopters understand the commitment and responsibility involved in caring for a canine companion. Step 3: Reference Checks
Our thorough screening involves three essential checks:
- Vet Verification: We prioritize the well-being of our pets by reaching out to your trusted veterinarian, ensuring they're in good hands.
- Personal References: We value insights from those who know you best, providing additional assurance of your commitment to responsible pet ownership.
- Residence Confirmation: We kindly request proof of your ability to have a pet/breed in your home.
Step 4: Home Check
Home checks are an integral part of our dog rescue process, ensuring that each pup finds a safe and loving environment tailored to their needs. By conducting these checks, we prioritize the well-being of our furry friends, ensuring they're placed in homes where they'll thrive and receive the care they deserve.
Step 5: Meet and Greet
A meet and greet will allow you to interact with your potential new furry family member in a relaxed environment, fostering a bond that goes beyond words. Our meet and greets serve as a crucial step in the adoption process, ensuring compatibility and creating unforgettable moments for both you and your future pet.
Step 6: Adoption Fees and Adoption Day!
Our adoption fees are approximately $200. They are sometimes less or more, depending on medical and behavior (training) costs.
Finally, welcome to Adoption Day, a momentous occasion as you welcome your chosen pet into your loving home!
As you finalize the adoption process, please remember that should your circumstances change and you find yourself unable to provide the care your pet needs, returning them to our rescue is a requirement.
